Crocuses (or is it croci?).
Can you see the tulips poking through? They were hiding from the deer who have been eating their sisters.
Here are some without all the dead leaves from last Fall. (I actually broke out the rake and cleared some away - much more to do). The deer got some of them, apparently, deer love tulips!

I am so blessed by the previous owners! I don't know when these bulbs were planted, I'm only thrilled to get to watch them grow and hopefully enjoy their blooms.
